Lead Acid  Batteries

HBL makes sealed maintenance free lead acid batteries with Pure Lead Tin Technology and specialized absorbed glass mat [AGM] separators. The use of AGM separators in combination with self-resealing, pressure-regulating valves and a starved electrolyte design enable recombination of gases generated during normal operation. This eliminates the need for electrolyte top-up.

The SS28300 battery is available with or without the battery box in various configurations depending on the requirements of the specific helicopter/aircraft – SS28300 MI for Mi8, Mi17 helicopters, SS28300 AN for AN32 aircraft and SS28300IS for Iskara Aircraft.

HBL Lead Acid aircraft batteries conform to the MIL 8565J standards.
